Your legacy matters—let us help you protect it with expert, compassionate estate planning you can trust.

The Unprepared Farewell: How One Loss Changed Everything

A pivotal moment in my life arrived 16 months after the passing of my grandmother, the beloved matriarch who was the cornerstone of our family. She nurtured everyone, presiding over every significant family event—from dinners and church gatherings to births, deaths, and baby showers. Her presence was essential, and nothing truly began without her.

Her impending death, though anticipated, left us unprepared. The aftermath brought an unexpected wave of resentment, altering our family dynamics to the point where we no longer celebrate Thanksgiving—a holiday that held a special significance for me as a “Thanksgiving baby.”

In March 2017, I launched my practice, driven by a desire to help others avoid similar family strife. This decision followed three challenging employment experiences with the Sandy Springs City Solicitor, the Dekalb Solicitor’s office, and the Fulton District Attorney’s office. While my legal career involved prosecuting business code violations, handling antitrust cases, and resolving business partner disputes, my undergraduate degree in business equipped me with a unique perspective. This background allows me to anticipate potential areas of friction within families and businesses, guiding my approach to estate planning with a blend of legal expertise and a deep understanding of interpersonal dynamics.

Experience Forged in Real-World Challenges

Navigating the Complexities of County Administration Provided an Unparalleled Foundation for Protecting Your Legacy.

With five years of experience in county administration, Stephanie gained invaluable first-hand exposure to the complex and often contentious realities families face in the absence of proactive estate planning. This period offered profound insights into the intricacies of probate and the emotional toll on families, particularly when disputes arose among heirs and attorneys.

These experiences significantly enhanced her credibility and deepened her recognition within the legal community, reinforcing her capability to craft comprehensive estate plans that truly protect her clients and their legacies. It is this practical understanding that allows Graham Estate Planning to offer confident and reassuring guidance for a protected future.

Frequently Asked Questions

Find quick answers to common questions about estate planning, probate, and how I can support you through the process.

I Need To Speak With Attorney Graham Now About A Trust. Can She Call Me Back?

Like most professional services, such as your physician or accountant, appointments are standard. To avoid interruptions when speaking with the attorney and to protect the attorney’s time while focusing on case files, or a hearing, a consultation is required. The receptionist has a few questions the attorney will need answered before we can confirm your appointment.

Once the appointment is booked, please check your email consistently for confirmation and updates OR to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Everything you need to know about your appointment will be provided in your email.

Each client and each case are unique based on individual needs and family dynamics. Be wary of any firm offering a cookie cutter price without knowing your goal, your needs or family dynamics. Our basic will plan starts at $2,300 for a single person without extraordinary challenges and includes the essential documents but does not include deeds or trusts and will not keep you out of probate court. If you do not have a blended family, complicated children and heirs, or a complex estate, this basic plan filed in probate court may be right for you.

The firm is happy to quote flat fee rates once we learn more about you, your family dynamics and your assets.

Our office is located at 5447 Roswell Road, ½ mile from I-285 just off Glenridge, near the Buckhead/Sandy Springs city line. Appointments are mandatory and a large majority of our services are provided remotely, including uncontested probate. Estate plan signings are conducted in person by appointment only!

We make house calls under exigent circumstances for an additional $500. Hospital visits cost an additional $1,000. We can also prepare your documents after meeting with you, private, via Zoom, and help you arrange a mobile notary at your cost for your convenience. Mobile notary fees range from $80–200 but do your research and find one who has notarized estate docs.
The client is responsible for making witnesses available. Neighbors are happy to help.

Witnesses will not read your documents but observe you place your mark or signature on what has been identified as your estate planning documents. They must provide identification and their address for the paperwork only.

We have a wide range of referral resources including CPAs, financial advisors, family law, criminal law, business attorneys and other professionals. We are happy to offer referrals but we make no guarantees regarding the use of referrals provided. Please do your research.

Book a consultation and we’ll discuss how we can help you save time and thousands of dollars in court.
